-Katherine Dunn. "One should feel confident, but never overconfident. Complacency kills." Most people tend to step over the boundaries of being confident, resulting in overconfidence. Some don't realise the subtle difference between the two. That is why, dark horses and underdogs are often able to spring up surprises and come out victorious in competition, etc. That is why, I would rather be unconfident than confident. Yet, being unconfident does not mean not believing - in miracles, in people around me, in myself. It's just that, life's unpredictable. Life's like that. The reason is Fear. The fear of losing, the fear of falling hard. Again. Fly to the top of the world. |
